Fiberon PA6-CF20

Fiberon · PA6 filament for FFF

All materials

Overview

PA6 nylon loaded with 20% carbon fiber, previously PolyMide PA6-CF. It offers high stiffness, strength, heat and chemical resistance with low warping, and needs a hardened nozzle; drying and annealing are advised.

Characteristics

  • High tempHeat deflection temperature of 100 °C or more — keeps its shape in hot environments.
  • Chemical resistantRated "Good" against at least four of the five chemical groups tested, or described as chemical resistant on the datasheet.
  • Carbon fiberReinforced with carbon fiber for extra stiffness and a matte finish.

Certifications

  • RoHSFree of restricted hazardous substances such as lead, mercury and cadmium (EU RoHS directive) — needed for electrical and electronic products sold in the EU.
  • REACHComplies with the EU REACH regulation on chemicals — no substances of very high concern above the allowed limits.

As stated by Polymaker — RoHS and REACH are Polymaker declarations covering its whole product range. Ask us for the certificate if you need it for an audit.
